"I'm excited about this CD because my son and I have known Mitch Estrin, clarinetist with the NY Philharmonic, for several years and this is the first time we've seen a CD on which he has a solo performance. The Shadows of October was played on WQXR(New York City) recently, and it's a beautiful performance of a very interesting(and listenable)contemporary piece. A bonus is that Stanley Drucker who, it seems to me, is woefully underrepresented in available recordings also appears on this CD. Support contemporary music, buy this disc."
