This 1993 Metro One release of Shack of Peasants is the 2nd and apparently the final release from this talented group of musicians. Lanny Cordola & Gary Thomas Griffin produced and arranged this project. Lanny again brought in a very gifted cast of musicians to sing and play with him. Included among them; Crystal Lewis, Philip Bardowell, Darell Mansfield, and Chris Lizotte to name a few. As the title states this is a "Gospel Blues" album and it is an incredible earthy/spiritual melding of the two, that does not disappoint.
