"The performances are very crisp in detail and the tempos are all well considered for the individual movements. The style of interpretation is typically French in nature. The recording balance unfortunately overly emphasizes the horns and the bassoons, at times almost completely overshadowing the upper woodwinds. An enjoyable recording of what I feel is unfortunately neglected chamber literature."
