CD Reviews

Best NEW band-Best album of the year!

"After one listen of this CD i knew immediately that this band was different than anything else out there right now. Comparisons to COC? i dont know maybe the fact that its not speedmetal and just good ol fashioned hard rock with an edge. the lyrics rock. the music rocks. the singer is excellent. the songs are memorable and melodic. i cant get this CD out of my player. if i was going to die tomorrow and i could only listen to one CD...this would be the one i would choose."

"Like many of people have stated when talking about Seemless, don't expect the sound of the former bands these guys were in. This is a very good thing, especially if you are looking for a band that is doing the rock and roll thing in a fresh way. This is a very complete first record that just makes me excited for the future of this band. I wanted to put four and half stars, but not for the reason you may think. I wanted it to symbolize that Seemless didn't unload the whole gun, we will get to see more live and upcoming releases. It is great to see every one of these band members back in the music business and kicking. I especially say this for Pete Cortese and Jesse David Leach. I'm a huge Overcast and Killswitch Engage fan, seeing a new direction like this further proves they are extra special. The music is tight, good guitar playing (I love Cortese taking a Tony Iommi approach with riffers, bends and such and all the other elements are strong too. There is good tribute to what bands like Down, Corrosion of Conformity, and Sabbath have done. Seemless is going in their own direction at the same time, they are doing their own thing. There is an excellent balance of moods throughout the album which can keep the interest of even a casual listener. It is not a bad thing if your checking this band out because you like the members past work. If you love music as I do, this is such a treat. I'm am excited about this band and look forward to what they have to give to the music world. What are you waiting for? Check them out and enjoy! Rock on!"

"Actually I had gotten this cd back in March in 2004 with the first released copies and I thought it was awesome and even though I haven't had the chance to see them live yet the songs on cd just show how awesome the whole band is and I love the songs jesse wrote in this album and the way he sings and everything just falls into place. Any fans of corrosion of comformity and sound garden will love seemless and this cd is really cool to listen to and just chill while listening to it. It's nothing like KsE but it is really creative with awesome guitar riffs and it puts you on that melow state. I haven't gotten the remastered version, however I do recomend this cd to everyone once again because it's something different from listening to all the hardcore metal bands that are way too many out there. 11/10. GET IT!"
