CD Reviews

Everything that Watts touches turns to gold...

"This cd has some down moments here or there, but I'd say that it holds together overall very nicely. It contains some very cool ambient beats along with a variety of slicing, grinding guitars and of course Mr. Raymond Watts doing vocals on the majority of songs. Watts uses some lyrics that he has previously used though, which makes me think that he might have run into some writer's block. Not only does he use some of his vocals from some of his songs, but also some samples too. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't ruin the cd, but if you know Pig's stuff really well, you'll be scratching your head with a little deja vu. It's an expensive cd, but with all of today's stupid music coming out on the shelves, it's worth the price."
I'm listening to it right now. . ..

". . .. and it is absolutely worth the buy, whether or not you are a fan of Pig. It's worth the price just for a few of the absolute gems in this album. I'm a fan of Buck-Tick too(but not as much of Soft Ballet), so having these guys collaborate is just awesome(Not to mention guesting from Meat beat Manifesto, and mixed by John Fryer)."
