Synopsis

Album Description
2009 collection from the Irish Folk/Rock band. With a history stretching back over two decades, they are the definition of journeymen rockers. The band are now regarded as national heroes in Ireland and originally entered the charts in 1990 with their debut single spending nine weeks at #1 in their home country. They have recently enjoyed a huge resurgence with their cover of 'About You Now', originally performed by the ever-changing Sugababes. This track was originally covered on a show in Ireland but was so successful they released the track and it stormed to #1 all in aid of charity. 22 tracks including 'About You Now', 'N17', 'Last Summer In New York', 'To Win Just Once' and 'I Useta Lover' (the biggest selling Irish single of all time). Universal.

CD Reviews

Great CD but price is high

"If you are a Saw Doctor fan like I am, this is a must buy. Even though I have everything that they have ever done, it was wonderful to get a "Best of" CD. I love the cover that they did on track one, it was better than the original group. My only concern is the price, it is rather high even for an import. I was able to purchase this CD on the Saw Doctors web site for $26.00 including shipping from Galway, Ireland. And it only took a week to get it. I've been finding more and more that it's cheaper to buy import cds directly from the source than to buy them from Amazon. E-Bay is also a good source to compare prices."
