"If you are a casual progressive metal fan, you might think that it all started with Dream Theater, and you would be wrong. Even they recognize that before them there was Queensryche, Fates Warning, and this band called Savatage. Their music is not as complex, but it's full of energy and fantastic melody. This two disc set features their most progressive moments, but has enuff metal to satisfy the headbangers out there. If you haven't heard them, give 'em a try and you'll be surprised."
