"I had hoped they would group these two songs on a single; they have such similar messages that they fall into place perfectly together. This is also an interesting single when you consider the band. It has Crash & Burn, an instrumental of C & B, and a mainly vocal remix of I Don't Care, which collectively showcases for the listener Daz's side of the creative process as well as Daniel's, and then it shows you what the two can do together: it's a beautiful thing. The best part about this single is the instrumental, which is as beautiful and soothing as the lyrics. I rather feel they destroyed the US single by cutting out almost all of the instrumental bits, probably in fear of time constraints. Those quieter moments of this song are its best though, giving you a period of rest after the emotional release of the lyrics like the calm in the eye of a storm."
