CD Reviews

A criminally overseen band!
The Jesus Man | Indiana, PA USA | 02/13/2006
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Satariel is one of the best melodic death metal bands, period! It's a shame these guys don't get more exposure because they are far more superior to the likes of Soilwork and In Flames. This album is everything a melodic death metal fan could ever ask for. Powerful production, incredible lyrics, melodies that make your spine shiver, industrial styled synth work, and vocals that shift from gutteral growls to black metal-esque screeching to beautiful clean singing. Overall, this album smokes and should be added to any metalhead's swedish metal collection. Oh yeah...a few Devin Townsend moments are laced within the music too. Listen to the chorus on track 3 and tell me that doesn't sound like Devy. Buy this album now !!@!!

...and all this for a mere $0.01 is a steal. I ordered my copy from here and the shipping was more than the cd itself. It was brand new and still in the shrink wrap too. I don't understand how an album of this quality was so cheap. I would pay 20 bucks for this masterpiece. Oh, well...saves the money."
