""five stars" does this album no real justice; this is a collection of some the greatest tabla solos one can find. Sabri manipulates seemingly ordinary taals and transforms them into amazingly complex works of art. His sheer mastery allows even those unknown to tabla to experience a magical inner journey. Sabri has awakened divine rhythms from deep within the universe and recorded them on this album. I was also suprised and delighted to hear Sabri, on track 3, call out the bhols and taals WHILE PLAYING THEM at the same time!! I have heard thousands of hours of tabla from hundreds of masters but have never heard them do this; they usually call it out and THEN play it but since you're reading this review you must be a tabla fan and already know all this so i'll stop rambling :) Get this album, whether or not you're into tabla. The harmonium playing that accompanies each of the four tracks is also very good!"
