Two Continents - One Music !! Since 1997 Sigi Finkel is working together with African Heart. Their music is a mixture from traditional drum sounds, driving wind instrument sounds and mystic African singing. It is not only because of the quality of the music that the formation is considered as one of the most travel joyous bands in the country. It is also the spirit of social equality within the band, which stands behind this co-operation of musicians of two so different cultural areas, and which protects the identity and the personality of all musicians and makes them to favourable music Ambassadors of the country. Their tours through Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Tunisia, Morocco, Croatia, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Israel and Senegal (to name just a few) took place before full houses and an inspired public. In 2001 the band toured for three weeks through Zimbabwe and South Africa and played at the largest Festivals before several thousand listeners. African Heart is the two Djembe players and Balaphonist Mamadou Diabate and Madou Kone originally from Burkina Faso, Lead singer and Percussionist Lamzo Ba from Senegal -the singers and drummers of west Africa more than ever celebrate the most important ceremonies of their tribes and the European band leader Sigi Finkel (tenor & soprano Saxophone), Werner Worm (trombone) and Wolfgang Klingsbigl (Bass).
