"If you only buy one record from these years, from the Holocaust, buy this one. No other artist has ever surpassed Sarah Gorby in singing these songs --some are almost deadly lullabies, other are partisans' songs, and one is the terrible "deportation" song: "Geyen Zey In Shvartse Reyen". I have heard it in many places, but never with this riveting deep voice.
It is the best tribute someone could make to the writers, the poets, the musicians but also to the unknown who died in the camps.Fabian (without Cheryl)"
