"SAR Records was an important Salsa label during the first half of the 1980s and this live date brings most of what made the label's tipico-flavored recordings so special. By itself, the great Papaito's cover version of "el Manicero" justifies buying this CD but don't overlook the other superb tracks from Roberto Torres, Angel Perez, Henry Fiol and Fernando Lavoy either. The sound quality and remastering leave much to be desired but this is still some great early-'80s Salsa...and therefore recommended."
