Sangit Om is a well-known German new age artist and producer whose given name is Stefan Petersilge. He uses bamboo flutes on most of his recordings, but also works with wooden flutes, tin whistles, and even a clay flute. He plays piano, percussion, violin, guitar, accordion, and tambura. Sangit Om has a studio on the island of Crete, and this recording shows the influence of the Greek culture and music. Also features several fine native musicians.
