"If you're a fan of Sammy Hagar, and especially if you've seen him in concert, you just HAVE TO have this album! Live albums always set out to capture the raw energy of a concert performance...and almost always fail. This album is a HUGE exception!!...it CRACKLES with energy!! I listen to this CD more than any of Sammy's studio albums...and that's saying something. In particular, "Bad Motor Scooter" will blow you away!! Don't miss it."

"Remember purchasing this for like $2.99 on cassette at a Kmart outlet store.So nice to get it on CD.'Red Hot' sizzles,literally-that is FOR a live album.I'm trying to figure out just when this eleven track release was originally recorded.I'm guessing,say 1979 or 1980.Either way, it's great to check out the intense energy levels on cuts like "Red", "Rock&Roll Weekend", Montrose's "Bad Motor Scooter", the classic "Plain Jane" and "20th Century Man".Cool cover,no?"
