CD Reviews

Cutting edge
Gene Alesi | Philadelphia, PA | 12/05/2003
(5 out of 5 stars)

"To simply say this band comes from the same mold as Smashing Pumpkins or Fiona Apple would be an unfair assertion, as there is nothing dated or retro about their debut production. As a razor-sharp vocal clears the way, a solid, hard-nosed backbeat takes the listener in many different directions at once and sets the tone from the opening track. Combined with intricate instrument to vocal harmonics and symphonic undertones of massive proportion, this disc represents a leap forward and a fresh approach to the angst-driven, alt-rock genre that began with Nirvana in the early 90's but is presented here with an interesting twist: These guys actually sound like they're having fun. Get the disc, it's worth it."
This old power metal head love this stuff

"This really is a great cd - the high pitch vocals, the harmonized guitars - much like Helloween on the best day of their life. I listen to this stuff all the time when I'm hanging out with the boys. I think all should purchase this very underated cd - for these guys will take over the prog metal scene as we know it. I like that they also take a stance on certain issues in hot debate - go to www.dustindiamond.comm to read more."
Shocked in disbelief.

"I never heard of these guys before until my buddy introduced me to them. He was playing the CD all day long and finally it started growing on me. I'm like, who are these guys again? I have to get a copy.
Then I found out who was in the band and was just blown away!
No friggin way!
I am glad I didnt know first, it would have clouded my judgement.
Great Music! Great Job Dustin!"
