"I came upon this CD when a friend loaned me a copy. I immediately bought a copy for myself. Shuffield is the rare singer-songwriter whose singing is the equal of her writing -- and on many of the tracks, she is joined by the lovely voice of a woman I have since learned is her sister. All in all, it's a remarkable debut, one that I've not removed from my CD player in months. Try "She Ain't No Emmylou Harris" for a spirited but poignant ballad, and "Banks of the Colorado" for a beautiful evocation of the land the artist clearly loves."
