CD Reviews

Luminous and exalting
Elliot J. Fleming | Providence RI | 01/15/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The twelve tracks flow into one another silkenly, and none are really adequately shown in the 30 second samples. The crisp guitar, bluesy harmonica, soulful but spare vocals, tidal synthesizer, crisp rhythm, surprising flute, and really lovely melody are just some of the layers in this virtuoso recording. Fresh after many hearings, yet comfortable from the first time I heard it, this album works for me on every level."
SACRED SPIRIT confirm that Indigo spirit was their 3rd album

"This CD is a remake of Indigo Spirit, the third Sacred Spirit album yn americas, but the sound is close to a live session, with 4 new songs, same musicas Indigo spirit but with lirics changed. Indigo spirit was more related to Salvery and I love it. Bluesy chill out is a new versions album...I fall in love for this new album. I love sacred Spirit"
I'm a late comer but WOW awesome!

"First heard this CD last week at a Flea Market coming from another booth, it was driving me nuts, had to find out who/what it was. Needless to say I wasn't the only one. Unfortunately it wasn't being sold at that booth, thank God for Amazon.com

Any way this whole CD/the Music is awesome. Definately has the blues influence, a little Electronica & tinge of Tangerine Dream type loops. Kinda reminds me of Eric Claptons dabble with Simon Climie on "T.D.F. Retail Therapy" "kinda". "That's Right" can be haunting at times with Tangerine Dream type loops, one of those tunes you can listen to over and over and still not get enough. All the tracks flow together nicely. The samples here just don't capture the true greatness but it'll have to do.

"The Brave" & Dave Jeffs did a fantastic job, I'll be doing more research on them.

Invite some friends over, break out the BBQ, open a glass of Wine, crank this up and enjoy!"
