Synopsis

Product Description
Blessings is a purely spiritual work of art. This daring album is entirely dedicated to the pagan segment of S.J.'s fanbase, and may not be appropriate for all audiences. For those that are open to alternative spiritual paths, this album is not to be missed. Blessings opens with an invocation and includes other musical passages which are both powerful and functional, such as a moving piece about the power of the labyrinth, a hymn dedicated to the male deity Herne, a pair of highly energetic tunes devoted to dance, and two playful numbers relating to Mama Dragon. Ginger Doss of Dreamtrybe and Velvet Hammer fame describes Blessings as, "The most sacred, most highly evolved body of pagan work I have ever experienced. SJ walks her path, and it shows."

"I bought this album and have not been able to stop replaying it since. I cannot say higher praise than that. Sooj's voice is amazing - I cannot believe it took me this long to find her. If you are a fan of Loreena McKennitt you will enjoy S.J. Tucker."
A Real 'Blessing' from Sooj!

"A dear friend introduced me to the music of SJ Tucker. Since then I have seen her in concert twice and I am ever enamored by her presence and her talent.

This new one is truly a 'Blessing'. Her remarkable voice and poetry will take you directly to your true self and love of the gods.

Many Blessings to SJ Tucker for adding so much to my enjoyment of life.

"This is a wonderful album, I found this artist quite by accident. I'm a fan of Loreena McKennitt, Kellianna, Libana, etcetera, but I bought this album on a whim and I can't stop playing it!

Firebird's Child, April Sunday Morning, Hymn to Herne, and In the Name of the Dance are the four best in my opinion.

My fiance loves it too, it keeps me dancing around the house with the pure playfulness and the "Hymn to Herne" doesn't exactly hurt the romance either!"
