WOW! This cd is very good! I knew the 3 traditional songs on here right off the bat (Old Guitar, Carol Co, and Sugarfoot Rag) Though the rendition of Sugarfoot Rag on here is not quite what I'm used to hearing, this version is superb, and driving as it can be. They take it from the traditional key of A to the bluegrass key of B for their own approach to it. Russell Moore really shines through on Carrol County Blues with his lead guitar work that I don't usually hear much of. These are just some highlights, but of course the entire album is great, from the very start with Old Kentucky Farmers. (which the banjo kickoff sounds surprisingly similar to "Poor Ellen Smith")
