"And so starts one of the rockhouses on this rare gem from Rufus Thomas' Alligator Records days. The tune is called "Somebody's Got To Go" and I believe this CD is one of the last of his recent recordings. No longer the "Crown Prince of Dance" he has more or less adopted the role of elderstatesman of the blues. Although the tune "The Walk" has Rufus on his dance legs, the rest is straight-up blues, albeit, with a humorous streak. A fine addition to anyone's collection."
