Synopsis

Album Description
Eternity is Rosetta's long-awaited debut album on Rexrode Records, released in the Spring of 2001. Imagine gritty space rock standing on the shoulders of Pink Floyd and T. Rex, a revival of sorts of the concise psychedelia that has long ignored age and gender gaps. Eternity is a 42-minute album-oriented set of songs reminiscent of late 60's /early 70's brit-rock, an era when bands viewed both their albums and singles as pieces of sonic/melodic art. Full of both rock and mellow numbers, the album features the sort of hooks, atmospheres and musical interludes that would have left a less disciplined band with an overdone double album. But Rosetta have kept the listeners' attention span in mind, procuring an album that flows seamlessly between a variety of moods and pieces that assemble into a beautiful whole.

CD Reviews

PLEASE DO NO BE CONFUSED WITH THE OTHER ROSETTA!!!
Matthew A. Rockwell | Haddam, CT USA | 01/07/2007

"This cd is ok, although I have not really listend to it heavily yet. I ordered this thinking it was the first cd by the space/metal band Rosetta. A lot of the reviews are somewhat similar too, both play spacey music. Be sure no to make the same mistake!"
Great Stuff!!

"An enjoyable listen. An album that you can listen to from start to finish without having to skip over tracks because the songs flow together seamlessly a la Pink Floyd or early Cars. Also Musically reminiscent of 60's psychedelia."
