Synopsis

Product Description
After spending a few years building an enormous underground buzz with its thrilling live shows, the Boulder-based power trio is ready to unleash its first offering. Combining rock and blues with modern touches and clever arrangements, Rose Hill Drive thrive on this hype and yet remain unpredictable.

'The fans have been doing all the talking. Everywhere I've gone in the past few months, music lovers heralded these kids as the hottest band going. But I wasn't going to believe the hype - not until I saw the group for myself. This band deserves every bit of hyperbole that's been pewed its way. Rose Hill Drive is the real deal.' -- Westord's Dave Herrera

Its level of critical acclaim and respect from its peers is unparalleled. The band has done dates with Queens Of The Stone Age, Wilco, Dave Matthews, Robert Randolph, and has performed at Bonnaroo, Red Rocks and the Warped Tour. Even Eddie Van Halen requested Rose Hill Drive to open for them. The band continues its strong touring schedule in 2006 with festival appearances and select dates with the legendary The Who in the UK this summer.

CD Reviews

The reviewers are so funny on Amazon

(4 out of 5 stars)

"First, Rose Hill Drive Rocks!!! If you are looking for a band that sounds like they teleported from 1974... look no further. These kids (yeah, they are like all under 22) are 70's classic rock with a slightly modern twist. They kind of remind me of Zeppelin meets 70's Rush. Guitarist Daniel Sproul really oozes Jimmy Page sounding licks better than anyone I've heard. His tone and control is amazing for someone who can't even legally drink yet. So much hype over bands like Wolfmother lately, it won't be long until Rose Hill Drive is buzzin. Their full length album comes out next month on Megaforce/SCI fidelity, which should push this group into the limelight. Mark my words, these kids are rising and it won't be long before they explode.

Second, the other reviews crack me up. The one where the reviewer says RHD sounds like Godsmack? hmmmm... no. He then recomends ELO? Totally different music, dude. Then recomends Oysterhead, an eclectic yet great band, but can't remember the drummers name? ummmmm... Stewart Copeland. This kids age is showing, and I suggest he lays off future reviews until his curlies come in.

"This is without a doubt in my mind the best band since Guns N' Rose. They blend the sounds of Led Zeppelin and Queens of the Stone Age to create a sound all their own. I have been following this band for a while and this Ep exceeds my expectations. The fisrt song Raise your hands is the weakest song but is still great, it has a sort of epic feel to it. Then comes Man on fire which is without a doubt the best rock song I have heard this year or this decade. Then Intruder erupts which is a very hard rocking brilliant song, and it's not even going to be on their full length album. Then Cool Cody which I heard along time ago and is still one of my favorite songs, one of the best live songs that you will ever here. This band is about to erupt when their debut album hits stores in August, get ready for the world of music to be turned upside down.

To the guy who reviewed above, this is not my band, I have never even met the people in the band. I am just a devoted fan, and if you look around to reviews around the internet you will see that people have been giving these guys the type of critical acclaim that I have. I bet you didn't even listen to the music on the ep and instead wrote them off because a fan was applauding them, so before you write them off give their music a chance."
These guys are the real deal

"Saw these guys open for Will Hoge in Athens, GA. Blew me away. Saw them at Smith's Old Bar in Atlanta, GA. Rocked the s**t out of the place. Been a rabid fan ever since. The EP is great, can't wait for the whole album in August. If you can find their live CD's get them too. If you have the opportunity, SEE THEM LIVE. You won't regret it."
