"Ron Hockett is one of the finest clarinet players I have ever enjoyed. He has such a smooth, swinging style that I find myself comparing all other clarinet players to him.

This album is a collection of gems from the master. From the easy-going Nuages to the uptempo Hindustan, Hockett interprets each song perfectly. His musicality is enhanced by the amazingly talented foursome that make up the rest of the quintet. Each member is first class.

For a long time I have listened to Ron as he played with the Jim Cullum Jazz Band and longed for him to release his own CD. Finally, after a long wait, Ron Hockett is featured. Finally Ron."
