"Ron Flynt was a founding member of the seminal early 80's power pop band 20/20.(I suspect most of the initial sales of this album will be attributed to diehard 20/20 fans like myself!)Well, we're all 20 years older now, and we can't expect our new wave heroes to keep pumping out energetic power pop with that same youthful zeal...but we can always hope, can't we? Several songs on the album capture some of that gestalt in fleeting moments, but for the most part, this is a more thoughtful, laid-back Ron Flynt we have here. At times reminiscent of Tom Petty or the Jayhawks, the album breezes by amiably enough, featuring some notable guest artists including fellow Oklahoman power pop guru Dwight Twilley on one track. It won't set the world on fire, but it should light the burners of anyone who enjoys any of the aforementioned artists."
