Rampal's Golden Flute
Neal J. Pollock | VA USA | 02/01/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I saw/heard The Great Rampal twice at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He was fantastic! This is a lovely collection by the (at least at the time) world's greatest flutist (or flautist) who actually had a flute made of gold which he claimed sounded better. This CD can easily be used as terrific background music to produce a relaxed, gentle atmosphere. I find the pieces consistently good. It's a nice assortment of pieces, though there are no Bach pieces. Enjoy!"
