Synopsis

Album Description
Available for the first time together, these are iconic comedian Rodney Dangerfield's Greatest Bits. Rodney Dangerfield is the man who coined the catchphrase "I Don't Get No Respect" and gave us some memorable performance in hilarious films as Caddyshack, Easy Money, Back To School, etc. He also had regular appearances on The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, The Dean Martin Show, and The Ed Sullivan Show along with several extraordinary stand-up shows where he'd knock the crowd dead with his clever, side-splitting oneliners about his family, his wife, social situations and more.

"I've had the 12" single of Rappin Rodney since it first came out in the early 80s, and have been waiting 25 years for it to get mastered onto CD, so I was thrilled when I saw it was included on "Greatest Bits." Well, I don't know if a bad master tape was used--or a bad cassette! Yes, that's how bad the mastering sounds. The ENTIRE songs sounds like it's being played through a tunnel with a flange effect, there's bad tape hiss, and the end of the song completely truncates instead of fading smoothly. It ain't rodney who 'can't get a break' when it comes to this song on CD. It's the fans..."
