"Rockin' Ryan has a big thundering voice in the style of Johnny Cash(actually a Johnny Cash meets Elvis style!) His voice is perfect for the mostly original but 50's rockabilly sounding material. This cd is essential for fans of the Southern California rockabilly scene, or for fans of Johnny Cash! A great cd, truly inspired by the artists of the 50's!"

"If you want authectic sounding rockabilly here it is, sounds like it was recorded in 1955! Rockin' Ryan's singing is wild, energetic, and charismatic. He croons, coos, screams, and shouts franticly, and occasioanlly hiccuping in teh traditional Johhny Powers style of 50's rockabilly. GREAT debut lp, now on cd!!! Don't pass thsi one up, then go see his live shows."
