CD Reviews

Great vocals, swinging music!
Nora Marks | Brooklyn, NY | 03/27/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you like good, classic vocal music in the American pop standards tradition, then this CD is for you. Robert Mosci voice has a rich warmth that he delivers in a highly infectious manner. In this CD of Sinatra tunes, he doesn't try to imitate Frank, but rather, uses the songs of Sinatra as a vehicle for his own style. This ranges from swinging, finger popping material to more emotional interpretations of slower ballads. The backing band is excellent as well, and the whole package makes for a most pleasant (and relaxing) listening experience. The solos occasionally lean towards mainstream jazz, so it is overall a nice synthesis. I love Mosci's vocal sound!"
