"And how! And man that's good. There is a healthy amount of pedal steel twanged about in a few of these cuts and more than enough superlative instrumentation throughout. Without a doubt the natural progression that country music is in the scheme of Robert's association with rock-a-billy be closely intertwined and appreciated. He makes it clear that the genres resemble momma & daddy and he's their proud son. Absolutely honest and stirring renditions of classic and obscure gems from the past. For me, I'd rate this disc a notch above his latest release "Satisfied Mind", and it seems to get consistent high marks. Not to knock it down but I think it has a couple of klunkers in it.
