CD ReviewsNice Try But Not as Good As I Should Have Been Michael Butts | Martinsburg, WV USA | 01/31/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) ""Hot Rod Hearts" and "Steal Away" were great songs at the turn of the eighties. This live reunion of Robbie and his band was done 20 years later in 1998. Overall, it's a rather bland performance. "Hot Rod Hearts" doesn't have the sense of teen angst and energy it did as a single in 1980. The cover of "Steal Away" also pales in comparison. It's a nice easy listening album, but it should have been much better!"
