"With the third release from Detroit modern rock giants Robb Roy, the quartet puts together 13 songs of solid hook-laden pop that is sure to solidify their place as masters of the local scene. The appropriately titled "Happy" is wrapped in slick packaging and incredibly professional playing. Graham Strachan's lyrics would be right at home in a radio slot between Creed and Matchbox Twenty. The band must be applauded on their production sense, which focuses on the solid beats of drummer Duane Huff and huge guitar lines. Besides that, it takes an awful lot of balls to cover Yaz's "Only You". And though the state of alternative radio rock is weak, there is little doubt that "Happy" will garner the band national attention.Reason to Buy: I heart modern rock.Best Listening Experience: "Happy""
