Son Rene joins him, alternating on tenor, alto, and soprano saxes, to form a strong two-horn front on eight of his originals and two by pianist Hotep Idris Galeta. Bassist Nat Reeves and drummer Carl Allen offer solid support as they blast through these tunes with no-holds barred. "Rendezvous in Congo Square" closes out this show of strength with a knockout punch."
