Dance little sister!

"Lots of fans were apparently disappointed that Rihanna's "Rated R" album wasn't more upbeat. The songs were mostly dark and pensive. No worries as barely 6 months later, 10 of the tracks have been remixed and given the uptempo club treatmentb by Chew Fu.

The ballad "Russian roulette" has been transformed into a club-friendly number with stomping beats, droning synths and those awesome harmonies intact. Similarly remixed is the ballad "Stupid on love" with mournful synths and additional harmonies. Also pleasantly transformed are "Rokstar 101", the Techno/Trance "Wait your turn", "Hard", and "Fire bomb".

Not everything works though, "Rude boy" gets slowed down and stripped of any tune, as is "G4L", but I'm sure there are some that will find something to like in them. While I prefer most of the album versions over these, it's good to have a danceable alternative. A great party soundtrack!"
