Great sampling of Bluegrass

"After recently starting to explore Bluegrass music, I find this collection to be an excellent introduction to the genre. Simpkins plays both the fiddle and mandolin on a variety of songs ranging from high-speed picking tunes to heart-tugging instrumentals. The CD also includes some vocal songs that sound great. The collection seems to be a good mix of contemporary sounds while keeping a "down home" feel associated with Bluegrass. That's what I associate it with anyway. A good buy..."
