Holmes" Holmstrom struck out on his own for this 1996 all-instrumental beauty. You'll hear a little Earl Hooker, a little Lightnin' Hopkins and definitely some Junior Watson in Rick's Silvertone guitar sound.

"Rick "L.A." Holmes is currently the ace guitarist in Rod Piazza's Mighty Flyers. This slot was not easy to fill. However, one listen to this great album, and you will understand why he got the job! This CD doesn't just appeal to guitar freaks. His sense of melody and rythym make the songs exciting for anyone. Do not buy this if you are expecting a Stevie Ray Vaughan clone. If you need a reference point, think of a cross between Freddie King, Jr. Watson and T-Bone Walker. Buy it and enjoy!"
