Probably the wrong ELEKTRA in the wrong box

"The gentleman from Pensacola must have gotten a truly mixed-up Elektra. I have both of these ELEKTRAs; there is absolutely no question that the one cited here (Od'O #1431) is the Beecham/Schluter/Welitsch/Hongen recording and that Od'O #1190 is, in fact, the Mitropolous/Borkh/della Casa/Madeira. Two very separate Elektras. You might notice that Opera d'Oro lists nothing more than composer and opera on the disc's label so it would be easy to put the wrong Elektra in the wrong box. But they also DO put their catalogue numbers on the discs, as well. This can be checked very simply. Both the Beecham and Mitropolous sets are brilliant in their distinctively different ways -- and absolutely distinguishable from one another."
