"He was a true artist and his singing voice makes you want more and more but unfortunately that is not possible...therefore we must appreciate what we have."

"While it is true that Richard Harris' somewhat vibrato style and rather limited singing range does not represent what some may term technically stellar, he does manage to inject an amazing amount of feeling, emotion and meaning into his work - something which other reputedly better singers so often lack. He was, after all, first and foremost an actor - and a very good (albeit often in his early years under-rated) one. All that said; I have to add that I have always and will always love this album. I think this is one of his best efforts in his excursion into the world of music. I was wearing out the vinyl back in the 70's and I plan to do similar damage to my recent CD purchase."
