"Having never seen the movie "The Book of Stars" I discovered this soundtrack from the recommendation of a close friend. Richard Gibbs has done a fantastic job weaving together traditional symphonic elements with some more unique instrumentation, like the incredible indian violin work of Anuradha Sridar. Overall, the score is powerful and laden with an abundance of emotion, yet Richard retains a whimsical quality that leaves the score very well balanced. I would highly recommend this soundtrack album to anyone who appreciates fine music, and hope that Richard Gibbs is given the opportunity to do more work like this."
