I would have never before imagined adding a Brass Quintet album to my CD collection, but Spectrum Brass Quintet is so much more. This CD features an amazing pianist and a fantastic soprano as well as a great drummer. These arrangements give a whole new flavor to the timeless music of George Gershwin. The five brass players sound like a fancy orchestra on the first half and an exciting big band on the second. This CD has something for my every listening mood. I highly recommend."
