"I still can remember seeing the film RETURN TO OZ at the theatre and the first thing I remember is the opening sequence of the film, looking at the stars, and of course David Shire's music. I had looked all over the place for a CD of the score and by luck I found one. The score is, I believe to be one of the finest written for a childrens fantasy film. I still cant get over the fact that some other record company hasnt picked up the rights to it and re-released it again. All in all the music is what makes the film most memorable, you remember scenes with music, either they be dramatic or sad. David Shire's score is brilliant, so if you somehow find a copy of the CD or LP get it as fast as you can, because you will not regret it!"
