Just like Obituary made me start being a fan of DM music, this album gave me exactly what I have been longing from death metal, in this pure&technical&brutal way. This is one MAJESTIC work, which came out after their painful 10 years of silence.
Well produced, which blows away the concerns about their sound, mainly from their first album. This one is produced to explode your speakers with compact, tight and ultimate heaviness. I just surrendered to them. JUST HEAR HOW THE VOCAL GROWLS. I rejoiced that I still haven't given up on this field. How many disgusting European copy&paste gargabes have ruined the taste? Most of them don't even know how to "mute" when they play guitar. It was only cool when Bathory did, but not any more. Pure American Death Metal, that's all in this album. This album should be heard by every TRUE DM fans. This is COMPLETELY amazing one." |
