"I was introduced to Reed Foehl by some friends who live in Lawrence, Kansas and immediately loved his sound. It's one of those rare CD's that you never get tired of and can listen to all the way through. The lyrics are passionate and inspiring. Buy this album if not just to experience track 4 'Days are Like'"

Probably much better live

"After knowing acoustic junction's stuff for quite some time, I cruised Reed's new site and listened to some samples, including some live tracks. I decided to get this CD, as I really liked his voice and writing.

His voice and writing is still good, but there's this synthesized percussion that is just bad. Maybe I'll get used to it, but it just doesn't go with the music. I think I was expecting more pure-acoustic. I should have listened to more song samples.

I'm sure he's much better live. Another artist that falls into this category is David Wilcox - average studio recordings, incredible live.

All-in-all, not a bad effort, just doesn't play to his strengths, IMO."

"I have followed Reed's music over the years from his early band Acoustic Junction to his present day Solo project. This Album 'Spark' is his best work to date.
The album has a sound that carries the listener from the 1st track 'the remedy' to the final notes of 'Indian Summer' without ever wanting to touch the skip button. A must buy for any music lover!"
