"Finally I found it! I first hear this cut in a jazz piano class in college. The instructor made us listen to tapes he had made of his old records. But he lost the list of songs and artists. Then a DJ used to play it every time he came on the air...he said it was practically a lesson in the blues. So every time I heard it made me want to find out who and what song it was. Finally found it here...thanks Amazon!"

"This music swings hard. Red Garland has an impressive resume having played extensively with Miles Davis and John Coltrane on earlier recordings. He was always swinging hard and has influenced many jazz pianists tody. Here he teams up with old friends Jimmy Rowser and Charles Wright and they put on quite a show. On this date they swing through a number of jazz standards and a couple of Garland originals. No one plays slow blues like Red. This one is a keeper!"
