"I fell in love with the recipe after I saw them play at a show on 4/20/ 99 or 2000 at that place in DC where Buzz used to be until it got busted cuz of the fox five undercover news crew ... and turned into Sting club. Haha, I get why they called it sting after that sting operation. So anyways, the Recipe played here with all the colorful freaks...there was a curtain to separate the bright palace of colorful hipsters from the dark shady atmosphere of dark trance music...very trippy looking onto the other side of the curtain at the darkness and the darkies takin peaks to our side ... weirdness indeed...

So ANYWAYS, i picked up this album there... This is their first album ... and i like it the best actually... got allof em though...this album along with porch people and geode are great...they are with the original singer..kristen..i cannot say enough about this album..very fun..and heartfelt. But don't buy it here at amazon...buy it at the homegrown music network...i just bought it for the second time after losing it... Not only is it cheaper at the homegrown music network, but you'll be supporting other folks besides amazon... spread the love kids..."
