I hope they remaster more rare Bryant albums.Everyone knows Miles, Dizzy and Duke but more should know about this true American Master and his amazing skills as a musician and writer/composer.Up Above the Rock is simply and amazing song that will make you want to jump up and dance/sing or whatever. Hearing it live must be amazing and I hope I can one day. However, the version that i heard on the Davis Holmes Album: "Come Get it, I Got it" is FASTER than the original song on this album.Little Green Apples is one of my favorites on the album. It atatrs slowly but them picks up in to a nicley paced jam that will simply make any jazz lover smile.He has a few covers also : Mrs. Robinson and Say a Little Prayer which are done nicely on the piano.I strongly recommend this album if you are a fan of old school, Blue Note/ Cadet Jazz. I guarantee you will play this album over and over and it will be one of your favorites...."
