At the 27th Annual ARIA Awards, Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson added a shiny, pointy triangle to the many other accolades that have been showered on them since they released their #1 album Rattlin Bones earlier this year. The talented couple were the happy recipients of Best Country Album at the 27th Annual ARIA Awards held in Sydney on Sunday night. And to celebrate their win, Liberation Music isproud to announce the release of Rattlin' Bones - The Max Sessions DVD. Recorded on July 9 2008, this intimate performance was a one-off show at The Sydney Opera House for the celebrated MAX Sessions. Backed by their touring band comprising Bill Chambers, John Watson, James Gillard and Mark 'Bucky' Collins, Kasey & Shaneperformed for a select group of fans and family. The set opened with the title track from the album and included live favourites 'Monkey On A Wire', 'Jackson Hole' and the new single 'Wildflower'. Kasey alsomanaged to keep her promise to perform one of her signature songs, 'The Captain' accompanied by Shane on grand piano. Shane also showcased a track from his forthcoming solo album, 'Short Fuse' (Part 4). It was a night never to be repeated. Fortunately, it's been captured on DVD.
