Established by Ralph Lawson, of the legendary Back to Basics club in Leeds, the label has grown organically to encompass over twenty international artists. Carl Finlow aka Random Factor has been working at the forefront of the electronic music scene since he began producing as Random Factor in 1995. Carl has also had considerable global success under his various other pseudonyms, including: Silicon Scally, Voicestealer, IL-EC-TRO, Black Labs, and simply Carl A Finlow. Carl has remixed Fatboy Slim, Jamiroquai, Blaze, Felix da Housecat, Swayzak, Josh Wink, and Luke Slater. He has also released music on prestigious labels such as Warp, Fuel, Playhouse, Paper, Trope, and Klang to name a few. Highlights include the Random Factor classic "What I Need," "Move On" which features vocalist George Levin who been much in demand from Jazzanova and Masters at Work and the title track Convergence which features Carl himself on vocals.
