CD ReviewsThis is where country is headed 12/07/2002 (5 out of 5 stars) "Sure, everyone knows good country music comes out of Oklahoma. But while Oklahoma artists like Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Vince Gill, Blake Shelton, Wade Hays, Joe Diffie, and Kelly Coffey have gone the Nashville route, Rambler has gone the other way. Joining other Oklahoma acts such as The Great Divide, Cross Canadian Ragweed, and Jason Boland & The Stragglers Rambler is part of the Red Dirt Country sound. The CD is great from start to finish, mixing in a little rock with traditional country. Country is headed this way along with Pat Green, et al. Rambler has a fresh sound, and if Mexican Stripper doesn't make you laugh you might need to check your pulse. Pick this one up, you won't be sorry."
