Synopsis

Album Description
RAMBIENT ? The kind of collaboration that, on paper, shouldn?t work: Harry Gregson-Williams is a classically trained film composer (Shrek 1 and 2, Armageddon, Enemy Of The State, Chicken Run) while Peter DiStefano (Porno For Pyros) is an alternative rock guitarist. This collision of diverse musical talent is exemplified by the duo?s debut ? So Many Worlds ? a unique blend of rock and ambient grooves. Joining the principals are Miho Hatori (Gorillaz, Cibo Matto), modern rock icon Peter Murphy (Bauhaus), chanteuse Lisbeth Scott and old-school hip-hop master Divine Styler. DiStefano also adds his vocal stamp on "Power" and "All That Is." In addition to the eclectic vocal lineup, bassisit Flea and electric violinist Hugh Marsh also lend their talents on select tracks.

"another underappreciated work of art by an eclectic assortment of accomplished and unique musicians. This is a bleeding edge collaboration that ventures into the highest realms of aural delight.

I am not as enthusiastic about Distefano as a vocalist as I am about his guitar playing, especially in collaboration with Peter Murphy; though the uniqueness of this disc brings forth the strengths of all involved."
